NB Prefer not to serve BBQ lunch.
Fire ban often enforced in Central Otago over the summer months.
However by special request it will be considered, including an evening barbecue.

Winter Homestead Lunch
~ Complementary Central Otago wine & fruit juice ~
Selection of Clachanburn pickles served with crackers & grapes
Farmhouse vegetable soup or pumpkin soup
Homemade bread
Also a selection from the summer menu will be served

A selection of the above will be served, however the menu changes a little according to the season and availability of ingredients.

As far as possible food is home grown:

• Vegetables from the kitchen garden
• Fruit from the orchard
• Venison from the farm, but commercially killed and butchered

Therefore the menus change a little according to the season and availability of ingredients, eg. Rhubarb & ginger Cake November - March; Pumpkin prune & pineapple Cake March - May

Our aim is to give our guests a Clachanburn garden experience. Looking and talking about the Garden and its produce, garden plants both edible and decorative. Also enjoying fresh home made lunch.

Our emphasis is on good food, excellent service and attention to detail.
I like our guests to have a HAPPY DAY.

The summer menu is buffet style and served in the garden, however if wet served in the Homestead Dining Room. The winter menu is served in the Homestead Dining Room.
